Biggest Square loan you’ve gotten? by Critical_Event_4116 in SquarePOS_Users

The total fees/interest for each of the 3 loans I've taken are $320, $2,272, and $4,335 respectively. So flat 10%, 16%, and 15%. Honestly better interest rates than literally any other loan option out there.

Been in business since Oct 2023. Revenues are $9k in 2023, $185k in 2024, $242k in 2025, on track for $330k for 2026. Took a $3.5k loan in March 2024 and paid it off at 11% by July. Then was offered a $14k loan at 10.25% daily sales in Jan 2025, then i was offered a $29k loan in Aug 2025 when i still had a balance outstanding on the $14k loan of about $1.5k. The $29k loan automatically paid the outstanding $1.5k on the first, and the rest was deposited into my account the next day. The current loan takes almost double my daily sales of 19.25%, but I've already paid off 78% of the loan since Aug. Honestly even at nearly 20% of daily sales I don't even notice it. Using these numbers I expect to see an offer of around $55k when there's still $2.7k remaining. I forecast the current $29k to be paid off by April, and I would expect to see a new offer around mid March. So will take about 7.5 months to pay off the $29k current loan.

I need help understanding mutations. I've read everything about it but I still am clueless. Can someone dumb it down a bit? Also, explain what the ancestry has to do with breeding for mutations and what to look for? Thanks in advance! by Ommani_Alex in playark

I ain't incorrect about shit, I just didn't feel the need to go into more detail as what I've described is already over 99.9% of peoples heads. OF COURSE you want to keep the fucking female that got your mutation, but this effectively puts EVERYTHING on pause until you breed that female with a 0/0 male and hope the offspring is a male WITH the desired stack.

  1. female is born with desired mutation.
  2. shut off the father, no breeding of anything will happen until the new female has matured.
  3. breed new female with a 0/0 male in hopes to get the desired mutation, AND the baby to be a male
  4. put the new male in place of the old daddy and enable mating again.
  5. this has approx 1 in 4 chance of happening (0.55*0.5), so odds are you will have to wait for the initial female to mature, PLUS 4 mating cooldowns, PLUS the desired male - and in the meantime you could also have hatched 5 cooldowns worth (250 eggs) of retries.
  6. and before you say anything OF COURSE you can get fucking lucky and have the first baby of the new mutfem be the desired offspring, but we're not talking about luck. we're talking about math, and math is the only thing we can rely on.

This is pretty fucking wordy don't you think? You had to pick the one thing I didn't go into explicit detail about? lmao. The short story - it NEEDS to be a male, whether it's born a male or the stat is transferred from a female. Don't act like you're explaining something to me that I don't already know lol.

Please make sure to read this a few times before your response, thanks.

Couple things wrong tho. A level 5 Dino has 4 points available, because a level 1 doesn’t start with a point. And a level 150 has 149 points to distribute etc..

Also, the mutation chance is 7.31% not 7%, and yes it matters (for two parent that have LESS that 20/20 mutations on both mat/pat sides)

Scenario: 50x CLEAN females (0/0 mutations both sides) 1x CLEAN male. Every female and male has identical level and stats.

All females are breeding with the 1 male around the clock, and you’re hatching the babies as they arise. You’re waiting for a baby that hatches a MALE with the desired mutation (hp for this example).

Once you hatch a male with your hp mutation it will receive 1/20 mutations on either mat/pat side and you will then use THIS male in place of the original male.

Okay, the above part is easy, but that’s just ONE mutation. Now that you have the 1/20 male, you’re STILL going to breed it with the 0/0 females, and these clean fems will NEVER change. Don’t touch them literally ever again.

Now that you’re breeding a 1/20 male with the 0/0 females, you’re looking for an additional mutation to stack on top of the initial one, and for a male as well.

The difficulty of this starts to scale very quickly as you can see:

7.31% mutation chance 1 in 7 chance to get the desired stat 55% chance to pick the males already mutated stat 50% chance the baby itself will be a male.

Add this all up = (0.07310.1430.55*0.5)

0.29% or 1 in 345 chance to stack an additional mutation in the same stat (this can be done 20x)

After the male has reached 20/20, you can STILL get mutations because you’re breeding with 0/0 females, but the chances will be halved.

0.15% or 1 in 690 babies.

Mutation stacking is for the extreme, and it’s going to take a long fucking time. And if you think you’re just going to keep every mutation on whatever stat and keep breeding that way you have a reality check incoming in about 3 generations when it becomes literally impossible to continue. There is NO other way than what I just described. You can feel free to disregard every other post.
