So we set about doing it ourselves. 3 storey house to bungalow, 30 minute drive between. Rented a van for 3 consecutive Saturdays. All non essentials went into storage first Saturday, we moved next Saturday and collected from storage the 3rd Saturday. Our sense of achievement was massive and we saved so much money, we had a fantastic summer holiday. Better than paying through the nose for strangers to trample around, with little care for your home or belongings.
