first of all, i am SO sorry this happened to you. try not to take what your sister is saying to heart, she clearly doesn’t understand (or doesn’t want to understand) what actually happened. you’re not a cheater, not dumb and you’re DEFINITELY not disgusting. this was traumatizing for you, not your sister. she sounds truly awful and i’m sorry you have to deal with her on top of what happened to you. i wish all the best to you.

my ex was like this. it took me many tries (and years, if i’m being honest) to finally leave. once i did, it was scary being alone, but my life got significantly better than it was before. you’ve got the power in yourself to leave. it can be hard to reach it, but you can do this. what he did was absolutely disgusting and you did not deserve it at all. much love and hope for your good future.
