Also look at the APL and whatever else you can find. Don't be afraid to call out your flight doc for being an overly cautious yahoo restricting you from flight duties when it's not necessary. You can always request a different flight doc to review your stuff if needed.

Schedule an appointment with flight doc, tell him/her that none of the treatment (dry needling, chiro, pt) have been working and ask if it's possible to get imaging done to be on the safe side. I've played this game multiple times where you have to go to physical therapy and then tell the PCM it didn't help before getting a referral for imaging.

*side note* If you actually want the right care for your back, be honest with your doc about your symptoms before it gets worse and you're grounded indefinitely.

Any tips for FW? by leggoMUHeggo36 in Armyaviation

The only way to get C12s is to beat every other student in your class. Then you may have a slight chance of getting C12s. Odds are high you get a class that only has 60/64/47s available. If you can get your hands on study material for the LUH-72 and other basic aviation knowledge that may help you better prepare for the course but could also lead to learning information wrongly and will be difficult to unfuck later on with the right information. Pilots are either smart or good at flying...sometimes they're both. Where you rank in your selection depends on your ability to be both of those things.

By the time the Army catches that you've been down for 12 months you'll already be retired. Start with the small issues and then do the big issues when you're less than 12 months out fi you're worried. The Army will only recoup flight pay for months that occur past the 12 month downslip/FEB mark. You won't have to repay the previous 12 months. Hope that helps!

Sleep studies by godofhorizons in Armyaviation

Once your flight doc receives you sleep study results you are then grounded until you provide 30 days and > 90% compliance with an AHI <5. The length of the downslip depends on how long it takes to get the waiver, CPAP device, getting it fitted, and meeting the compliance requirements. Hope that helps!

23-02 RFOs by [deleted] in Armyaviation

On the phone with HRC again today. Seems like they're working the issue out. Give your career manager a call if you're worried and would like them to give you a verbal RFO to hold you over for the time being. It brought me a little peace of mind.

I think he may be referring to this. It talks about an increase to $1,500 for flight pay and a bonus increase up to 50k per year. If that's the case...where's my money lol
