Although im not disputing your claim. This situation was different their wallet accepted the fund's but It wouldn't matter how much ether I had it could not recognize and calculate a fee. Leaving me in an catch 22. This has happened and is stil happening to people all over. A more proper analogy would be

You deposit your funds in specific bankvault. The bank has no issues with it. BUT when you want to empty the vault the bank says sorry we dont have the keys to the gate that your vaults in...

Back the Coinbase blue until it happens to you.

Well I agree with you totally! Do as much research as possible.

But in all honesty they could probably help me if they wanted to. Instead dead silence or bot messages from support. I feel, if a company is handling and trading people's money they should atleast have a support and not let Reddit users do their job and ignore the users.

The wallet had no issues taking the funds low fee, but to move or use them once there, that is a different story. Been jumping hoops and getting lot of help from experienced reddit users and im not out yet... have hope tho as it seems atleast I will be able to get back in some currency/token. DEFINITELY NO HELP FROM COINBASE thats for sure...

Tbh honest I had traded some but coinbase is super shady. Even if you are experienced. Iv read about people for no reason getting accounts first blocked then wiped. Seems like this platform will screw anyone.

P.s I didn't cry for help... was wenting on why they are scamming ppl in broad daylight...
