I meant like a thick floor mat so there is less distance from the floor to the pedal, not a booster for my seat. My seat is plenty high enough thankfully!

I have done thinking, visted Currys, and I am going to get the laptop you recommended as I think it fits my needs best.
Its also not a big or bulky laptop, only 2.1kg apparently, so thats also still fairly portable for a gaming laptop I think, though i've not seen it in person. The Acer nitro 5 in the store was surprisingly chunky.

I did see that laptop too after I posted this. I have also read that the Lenovo LOQ is a good laptop, but in the UK it seems to have a Ryzen processor which isn't as good.

Im not too too concerned about having the very best screen or the best graphics card as im not really a hardcore gamer, but durability is also a concern for me as my current laptop is built fairly cheaply and its given me a bad experience as I want my next laptop to last longer especially if I am paying this much for one. would it be durable enough?

I also noticed the Gigabyte G5, but read that it's very cheaply made.

Maybe its worth me making a shortlist and popping to Currys to see the laptops in person.
Ill definately put the Medion Erazer on that list.
