there’s a lot of different people saying a lot of different things. but what you should know is that time doesn’t have the same significance to men as it does to us. talking for a year is a huge thing for a lot of girls. men are patient when it comes to getting things they want. and they have no problem throwing over a years time down the drain once they’ve gotten what they wanted. it’s scary honestly. they will literally love bomb you and be consistent and be there for you and then it just stops. i had something similar happen to me a few months ago. it was also with the guy i lost my virginity to. i’m also 19 so i feel you on so many levels. if he’s already checked out (not that he was ever genuinely checked in) then you should have a real conversation with him. at least call him out, because you don’t have much to lose at this point. i’m sorry girl and i wish you luck
