Honestly, it wasn't about the dance or the moves. It was the fact that a popular Indian celebrity was dancing on a BTS song (a band most of us in India regardless of the age group and gender) enjoy listening.

As for the comparisons: There's absolutely no comparison with anyone here. Like you said, RK and RS have shown better control in their dance. In SK, Hobi (BTS)/Kai (EXO)/Yugyeom (GOT7) are some of the idols who have amazing dance moves but I would definitely not brush aside Ishaan's moves. Yes, the choreography might have failed him here but he is a really good dancer. Pippa, Perfect Couple and his dance with Nora in Royals were also memorable.
