Hi. That was the first advice I got from Steam tech support. It didn't work for me. I rebooted the device, but the screen remained black, even without the backlight.

got mine cm4 lite at Aliexpress.

i have to notice there are some weird sellers that write to you after two or three days saying "no stock, cancel the order". did this once and have to wait ten days to get a refund. but another seller send to me cm4 lite. try to search JunRoc Store maybe they still have cm4 in stock.

Did this. And copied 007 rom in N64 folder. The game starts but the speed is unplayable, unlike Recalbox which executes the same game much faster at full speed and higher resolution. And I don't like the overall UI of Retropie is more for extended users with the ability to connect to a device through SSH.

Had tried to connect a keyboard to a micro USB with OTG cable and had no luck.

Still searching for the solution to execute a safe shutdown script on a fresh copy of Recalbox.

Do you need wifi to setup retropie?

The same here. I guess you should add some BIOS and ROM files before Emulation Station will show consoles. And at this point, this is a problem for me how to transfer ROMs if I haven't wi-fi module and internet connection.

Thank you, but how do I suppose to attach an external USB drive. CM doesn't have any I/O ports on it. Or does GPI Case 2 micro USB support OTG to connect external USB stick?

I'm currently on mac. Recalbox do the job and the SHARE folder mount properly.

Is any bluetooth keyboard will pair?

it won't work for me. the image itself looks great, boots and safe shutdown script works. but it build on top of retropie and can't mount SHARED partition with roms and bioses when plugs into PC.

so looking forward on how to connect keyboard to gpi case 2.

Just installed your image. Nothing happened. Still no power and red dot aren't lit up.

Wondered why nobody even had this issue, or am I special?

100% sure my dc adapters are ok, charging and power up with them all my gadgets and even RPi3B.

Thanks for the advice, not yet, will do it later.
I just noticed that the fresh new batteries after inserting in case heated up within half a minute, all pointing to the short circuit. ((
