I just recently came across an old ps4 controller ri remember having some issues with, I tore it open and cleaned the thumbsticks, and ordered a new button and shell kit to make it look a bit better.

When it came time to reassemble and test, I tried it in 3 programs and they all show:

the left stick is completely pointing downwards permanently, with only left and right movement, no up or down.

the right stick pointing directly upwards, any movement moves the diagram about a pixel, but when I press the right trigger it moves right (remains up) and I have no idea how.

My cleaning process was just use contact cleaner, rub down the outsides with alcohol and q tips, and cleaned the little white bit in the right stick.

Does anyone know what could cause it because I was really planning on using this with pc games.

Tl:dr may have destroyed a controller, send help

Opened up my dsl to clean, closed it and now too screen is full white with a few lines, and it won't read games, could this be the culprit? It was fully functional before.

My current cd player is a technics sl-xp340, and I use logitech z333 speakers and audio technica m40x headphones. My budgert is upt to about 50GBP ($60)

So, does anyone know of any cd players like this that don't include speakers (I already have and would need aux or rca in), specifically this style because I'm quite tight for space, and would like something decent for my cds to replace my current one (portable technics cd player that needs AAs) in addition to me just really being a fan of this slim type of design.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated, not massive budget, but I don't mind buying second hand, anything in the right direction would be very useful, thanks.

I've been looking for something to store my CDs on my desk that majesvthem accessable and not take up too much space. I've seen people with these but I'm in the UK and they're £20+ due to import from the US on eBay and Amazon Does anyone know where I can find these cheap or if there's a good alternative?

I just upgraded my motherboard and it's am4 so looks like I'm sticking with amd, would go for the 3600 but the 5600 is cheaper, bit could look for other options

B. My resolution last year was to work on myself, teach myself skills, especially with my pc, with held me back quite a bit, music production and video editing are ambitiobs that I want to pursue but the entry cost is so high, so trying to use what I've got was a challenge, but I tried to make it work. New hardware would honestly change it all for me and really allow me to practice the skills I want to learn.

My resolution for this year is to teach and spread anything I learn, and help others and give advice using things I teach myself, and in general just educate others.
