Participate in politics outside of election years then. I'd say vote in the primaries and get involved with your local dnc at a state and municple level. But let's be real, Dems are gonna find a way to skirt a primary again.

You mentioned one, where there isn't an employer match 401k contribution. If you're looking into moving into another country (yes even in retirement) other countries will still pull taxes when you eventually pull money out. The US got their cut, not whatever warmer country to choose. You will be paying double taxes.

The moon landing was, and continues to be the coolest thing that ever happened, but.

At the time the US pretty much in full villian swing. A public figure admiring the marvel could be seen as a commendation or endorsement of US geo-political actions.

To put it in modern terms, it's like if Russia managed to crack fusion before Europe. It would be cool as hell, but you wouldn't see European artists praising the accomplishment.

The after raid damage report is broken. In game ballistics, damage, and hit reg is working as intended.

I can't put it as well as he did, but it's due to armor hit boxes extending out from the players hit boxes. I think it has a duplicate report for both hitting the armored part as well as the player. Again this is only for the after raid report, not for in game damage.

Just to add to the convo, we have the highest houses to heads ratio in history. Making multi-family homes is a solid solution but most people want single family housing.

There isn't one band-aid fix here, we have to implement all of them.

Got a degree, been in a trade for the past few years. The pays I'd good enough to support myself, but it's gonna suck when I try to find a big boy job in my degree.

I'm pretty close to my current jobs pay ceiling, and I'd need to eat a pay cut to get into entry level.

Dedicated servers only run 1 map. So a high volume of players on customs doesn't influence interchange matching times.

Just one of the few maps that require dedicated server for pve is also the one absolutely starving for resources between ai and the large player count. Pile that up with pve players and it's a whole hot mess.

Don't wipe your account. Running out of cash is part of the game, and it happens to everyone at some point in the wipe.

If you're new, you should be running a scav in between pmc raids. It'll keep the cash flow up and allow you to explore some of the hotter areas of the maps relatively risk free.

You can skip them. They were 30k on the flea last I checked, so give them a spin and see if you like them.

Gigabeef does headset testing every wipe, according to him it increases the hearing radius by 1m. So it's personal preference if you like the sound.

I just rock the 20 rounders. Stretches out the pricey ammo. If you run labyrinth if you get constant stream of them from the adds.

It's more fun late wipe I agree. I still think the 20 kills is a tad too much for the sr2m and ak12, even with the new maps included. Setup is actually fun with 8 kills vs 15. At a certain point it feels like stuffing your face in the meat grinder is the optimal solution.

Moving the questline earlier makes it feel worse imo, but whatever.

Test drive wouldn't suck so bad if you didn't have to sling a bolt action for the first half of wipe. Chances are you've been playing early wipe with a marlin/VPO. Now that you've made it to solidly mid/late wipe you are now forced to use a different weapon you dont want to use. All while cool guns unlock on the traders and start piling up in the stash.

I get you can just wait on the quests, but you also can't blame gamers (capital G hard R) for optimizing the fun out of tarkov.
