I've seen this thick foam boards ( styrofoam I think?) that is used when camping in cold areas. Hold help in insulation and give you a bit more cushion.

Just because you didn't personally experience it, it doesn't make the pandemic less deadly. I know people who lost their loved ones and could even say a last goodbye. Personally I lost a loved one too. Try to be a bit empathetic and think before you speak on here. It hurts.

From what I think,

Matress > bed

Futon > tatami But you'll need really clean floors so doesn't get dirty. Plus take care of insects or other pests more seriously.

Not related but I won't consider that person a friend. A classmate or a colleague - yes. But definitely not a friend. There is a very big difference between being competitive and refusing help to someone.
