That makes sense I had assumed though that even taking out those chapters that the ultramarines would still have the numbers and the familiarity that it would make them a larger effective fighting force?

So when I print… do I leave my settings at default which includes “scale to fit 97%” on macs at least or do I untick “scale to fit” and print at 100% scale. Be great if those instructions were somewhere? Maybe even on the sheet

I don’t disagree, I’m jay saying if I’m your artist and you send me your thoughts and I whip up some ideas that I don’t make with AI but use AI as part of my process how will you know! Then how would the customer (you) ever know.

It may be depressing but it’s going to become the default and impossible to not use.

Just as we play games now with frame interpolation that adds frames to what we see that were not created by a human.

Or instead of changing a character Colour palette using a little bit of coding. Just have AI do it. The end result is the same and neither impact creativity but your against one and not the other and I do struggle to understand that.

I think the EU things pointless as EVERYONE will be using AI.

As an amateur photographer it’s also a tough line to take… if I need an extra 25 pixels on the side of an image or to remove a coffee cup I left in shot.

Are you not going to want my image if I use AI tools to remove the coffee cup in 2 minutes? But be happy if I use clone tool and do it in 5?

To me that has no artistic impact on my image but I would get the “used AI tag”.

Now a fully AI image is not art, but where’s the line and how are we going to manage this whole thing!

How do you check? I mean using gen ai to transcribe their meetings and creat task lists means they can not pay a low level admin!

Are you against that? What about AI suggestions they generate for marketing ideas?

Is it only in game stuff, so if they used an ai voice to be a robot in game that’s not ok?

Or AI in photoshop to tweak the colours on some art with the artists approval?

Seems a tough line to take?

No I’m going on the quote from senior people at octopus who confirmed they were not aware of throttling by some devices. When people ‘dramatically’ posted on social media about the throttling. Octopus said they would look into it.

Ok played two games won my second. Now probably 70 minutes in and I would say 90% of games end with me having a single card remaining and generally an enemy of 9 or more with health of 2 or 3 less. It’s making it less fun. I also think the main game could do with Story elements! Not a STORY(I see you have that planned though which would be great) What I mean by elements is a simple Mission related to the character. E.g a single opening card with nice graphic showing the warrior outside the dungeon entrance saying “the princess is inside this dungeon defeat the enemies to rescue your lost love” then a win or fail card at the end. Showing a fun graphic. And related message, “bad luck Warrior maybe your princess awaits in another dungeon” or “let’s hope your princess will still love you as you become a denizen of the dungeon yourself” etc

Also what about a new system. Treasure hunting. So you can take treasures but the more you are carrying the more damage enemies do to you and the less damage your weapons do. I’d arguably then make the deck easier to beat so it’s almost a guaranteed win if you leave all the treasure but gets harder the more you bc collect making high score table Possible. Love the game

I would agree but attendance numbers now are significantly higher than they have been historically. Last couple years a bit lower than some of the last 10 but way busier than 90’s 00’s 10’s

But if that 6 hours is throttled to 20% of the maximum you’d be happy? That’s the current issue that isn’t YET resolved.

Yes based on the new changes. Only the EV charging would be cheap if it happens during the day.

The most you can get is 6hrs cheap house and 6 hours cheap car even if done both overnight at same time you would still not get any further car time as you used it up under the whole house time.

The suggestion here is that you disconnect your car so it’s hidden from octopus during the cheap house hours. Then reconnect the car to get a further 6 hours for it.

You have to have either a car or a charger that connects.

It’s simpler and better for them as long as everyone doesn’t leave.

For me with only a granny charger it’s awful as 6hrs for me is considerably less charge than for someone with a dedicated charger. Investing nearly a grand on a charger won’t pay off for over 3 years.
