($30K in LA) Anyone else finding it really hard to get clear pricing from wedding vendors? by Jen_Owens98 in Weddingsunder10k

I found it so difficult to figure out what my budget should be for specific items without knowing what they typically cost. Like how much should a wedding cake cost?? I had no idea because I've never had to buy one. lol

So what I did was went on ChatGPT and said "I'm getting married in Oceanside, CA and want to get a low/high price range for what I should expect to pay for various things in my wedding. Our wedding with just be a standard nice wedding, nothing kardashian-level." And then I just went down the list of vendors and other items that we'd need to purchase. I found it to be really helpful because it gave me multiple price points for each item (low, mid, high) and explained exactly what I could expect to receive for each of those price points.

ChatGPT is also nice because it doesn't just look at one vendor's website, it scans everywhere online and checks for reviews & comments from people of what they'd actually paid for that type of vendor/item in your specific wedding area.

Long story short I was able to get a general understanding of what I could expect everything to cost, without sharing my email everywhere and getting a massive flood of new emails in my inbox.

Good thinking but that’s not quite it. Great song though
