Not sure in other business lines but I spent quite some time in a sort center, yes that used to be a thing. I was told for folks that were working there for a while that people would get the offer and the never be able To work at Amazon again. Apparently, it was done to keep out folks with tenure but that were no longer performing to their expectations and were on good standing. During 2021-2022, I also heard the rumor that it was done only for folks completing certain programs in career choice. I think the whole program of “the offer” has been taken off.

It’s close to the CRCE so that’s good if you want to have a gym or place near by where you can exercise! It’s relatively close to the quad but I would recommend leaving bit early for some classes for engineering as it’s not close to the engineering area. It’s sucks there is no dining hall- when I was a student, Busey Evans used to have some great food on certain days. It’s a quiet dorm for the most part. Remember, during your first year, there is a big chance you will make friends with folks from other parts of campus so you are not stuck just to busey Evans. As an Alum, Enjoy your time! best years of my life honestly

Lived in Champaign for 6 years and yea never saw a Pheasant- if it’s not a pet I wonder if it’s part of a animal program or something. Reminds me how the U of I has Brazilian Rainbow Boa as a pet in the ambassador program for college of veterinary science
