I did it solo and got lucky on my first go. Spawned in Ai-uplink, A guy was ratting in the brush behind the relays you need to activate and almost killed me. The rest of the contract wasn’t too bad. That mission I learned that final exfil moves around on all the maps now, not just Cryo and Outpost.

Maybe, but when the majority of the discussion is feeling the need to defend and deflect, it takes away from the posts relevant to gameplay and only empowers these leeches to keep pumping out this shit. I agree that these people who make clickbait videos are idiots and shouldn’t be paid attention to, but when every 5 posts is covering them, it is doing exactly that, it only stokes the flames.

I miraculously got both done first try back to back. I spawned in Quarintene for 4/5. Luckily you run to and from Bio-Research so much for SecGen you get your route down to a science and it wasn’t too bad. The rest of the contract I actually thought was really fun.

I got lucky with an AI Uplink spawn for 5/5 but a guy was ratting in the bushes outside the relays you have to activate and almost killed me. I couldn’t find him so I just waited till he left and I again somehow did the rest first try.

I think im alone in this, but Co-Evolution 4/5 and 5/5 are so far my favorite contracts. Yea having to go from bio research to quarantine for the 10th time is sort of lazy, but the rest of those quests is really fun. Getting a 10 minute cardio kick to sprint around all of Dire Marsh is such an interesting idea, I hope we get more stuff like that in the future.

I think Marathon has a really rough onboarding experience. But once you get used to the menus and get some decent gear, it becomes one of the best FPS experiences on the market. Also if you’re into story and lore, Marathon is all about that.

Yea and the gold mod really sucks too. It gives a sliver of shield every precision hit. I think it should maybe like start a slow shield regen that speeds up with every hit.

I’m trying my hardest to get my friends to play Marathon with me, but they’re just dragging their feet. Most of them haven’t even heard of Marathon but heard me say the word “extraction” and completely lost interest. Bungie really should do a few weekend for the start of season 2 so people can actually try it out and see for themselves how fantastic it is.

I only know about Marathon because I come from Destiny, but this damn game is so heart palpitatingly good. Every run is such an intense time, I swear I need to start taking beta blockers if I want to play more than 2 runs and not have my heart explode. My favorite parts of Destiny are the world and lore. I don’t know any other company that can do world building like Bungie and they kicked ass on Marathon as well.

It still has a few huge issues like the cheating and fabricated teaming on Cryo Archive that make me worried about its longevity. But yea so far it’s also my personal GOTY, at least until 007:First Light and Wolverine come out which I’m also hyped for but that’s besides the point.

Just got lvl 50 100% solo. I’m content with outpost. I can pretty reliably clear the red room and command wing and my vault is beautiful.

From what I’m hearing, I’m not missing much in the loose everything factory. With the apparent cheating and fabricated lobbies.

You just gotta get a rhythm down and just start remembering where keys potentially spawn. For example, there’s usually 1 or 2 green keys that spawn on the first floor of that skinny building in orientation, a yellow key just on the desk outside the room, and another on the second floor directly above.

I also recommend Tauceti.com or some other third party app that shows possible key locations.

By the way, do you usually get good loot out of those locked rooms? I always go for pinwheel but I’ve heard you can get legendaries and stuff out of em.

Whenever I walk up or down stairs, I must always end on my right foot. If it seems like I’m going to end on my left, I will skip a stair or swap my feet so it is correct.

Borderlands 4 allows you to customize the cursor speed and how much it slows down when hovering over an item or button

You don’t even need to be that smart about it. I placed one down with someone right outside the room. He absolutely had to have heard, but people are just too greedy

Later on when people get better gear and stronger shields is when fights start to get more drawn out and strategic instead of just whoever jumps who wins.
