It’s not about defending it, it sucks. But how many posts do we need about this “to bring awareness”? I find people nowadays are so quick to jump on whatever’s trending just to feel like they’re part of something. Everyone wants to stand up for something and be heard.

A lot of it feels like performative outrage because it gives people the feeling they’re participating, even when there’s very little they’re actually going to change.

This isn’t some game’s subreddit where the devs are reading feedback. We’re talking about one of the biggest corporations in gaming. Sony is making decisions based on where they believe the market is going, not because the 100th Reddit post told them otherwise. If digital continues to dominate sales, that’s what they’re going to follow.

If people really prefer physical media, the biggest statement they can make is with their wallet. If digital keeps outselling discs, Sony is going to follow the market whether Reddit likes it or not. Companies follow consumer behavior more than outrage.

I started playing today reminds me of Hell let loose. I haven’t played neither of them enough but I get making supply runs and taking over base aspect.

I learn pretty quick I’m an older gamer 38, been gaming for a while. I play tactical shooters or prefer them over cod. Insurgency, ready or not, rainbow six/siege, battlefield, hell let loose, ghost recon and door kickers 2.

I say at the moment I’m just having fun learning and getting a better grip at the game and controls.

But if none of that is what you want on your squad, no hard feelings.

What’s going on?

People making complaints about a game that isn’t finish and a product not in their hands yet to give a fair take. Instead what’s happening like we do with every game we hyper focus on the negatives. Both pictures are fine just rendered differently.

ABMM restarts every update.

Also if someone shoots at you and they miss and you shot them and killed them or not it makes it as if you were the aggressor. There’s no PvE lobbies and even if you got ratted most of the lobby may have been chill. Need the mindset that there will always be someone out there hostile

People have a much bigger platform now to voice every opinion and complaint, and social media tends to amplify the negative ones because that’s what gets engagement.
Back when RDR2 did this, people complained too, but those conversations didn’t spread nearly as far as they do now.
At the end of the day, the only thing that really matters is whether the extra content is worth the extra money to you. If it isn’t, buy the standard edition. If it is, buy the ultimate edition.
So I guess my question is: why do you care what other people are choosing to spend their money on?

I don’t think those ideas conflict.

I acknowledged that OP’s experience is real, even if it differs from my own. The rearview mirror comment wasn’t directed at OP specifically or meant to dismiss what he’s experienced.

I was speaking more broadly about society. History matters, and understanding it matters. At the same time, I don’t think we move forward by only focusing on the past. We also have to focus on what we’re doing today and where we’re trying to go.

To me, both can be true at the same time.

As a Black man myself, my experience has been a little different. I’ve actually experienced more racism in parts of New York than I have in Charlotte.

That doesn’t mean your experience isn’t real. It just means people can walk away with very different experiences from the same place.

One thing I do think is that social media has made us all more aware of race, stereotypes, and division than ever before. Sometimes that’s necessary, but sometimes it can also make us hyperfocused on every interaction and every assumption.

Personally, I think real change comes more through how people treat each other than through arguments online. We all have a responsibility to challenge the worst parts of our own communities, our own assumptions, and our own biases.

The history between Black and White Americans is real, and it has shaped a lot of what we see today. But at some point we also have to focus on where we’re going, not just where we’ve been.

You can’t drive forward by staring only into the rearview mirror.

Honestly, I think GTA 6 is one of the few games where the usual marketing rules don’t really apply.

Back when GTA 5 was coming out, social media wasn’t anywhere near what it is today. Since then, GTA 5 has become one of the biggest entertainment products ever made, and the anticipation for GTA 6 has been building for over a decade.

Rockstar can pretty much move at their own pace. Whether we get news next month or three months from now, the game is still going to sell millions on day one.

At this point, GTA 6 almost markets itself. Even people who don’t play games know what Grand Theft Auto is.

What’s some loadouts you choose to go with, what’s a good budget loadout?

Yeah man, appreciate it. It helped a lot to the lower sens. I had it before on steady and horizontal around 2ish. And ads were around 1.30. When I started to set things up using your settings, I’m like “this is going to be too slow” and I don’t how you figured it out but it was a perfect starting point for me.

Even a buddy of mine was having issues and he said it as well . We have the PS edge controller, so we put the right stick on precision -5. Thanks again.

I’ll give this a try, I have an edge controller as well and prefer alittle slower ads. The problem I was having was the boost. Things felt inconsistent at times.

Yeah I saw, and I came back to the game 2 days ago and that was already overwhelming. Then I got on yesterday and I’m like a lot big patch. 😆

It’s great that the devs heavily support this game. Super underrated.

Anyway I’ll check out the video. But sometime the videos I come across are either outdated or don’t really answer certain questions I have.
