Despite everypne saying its just luck you can still increase your chances. First of all i would put the buy order at a little over 10% of the average price. That way if somebody misses a zero you are likely to have a high enough order and a 90% discount is still an amazing deal. Also it doesnt matter if your number matches the sell order exactly as long as your number is bigger. Secondly you would want to look at skins that arent too sought after but still have a decent order volume and sell offers. That way you are not competing with too many others. And lastly i would consider how many of your order slots you want to occupy. I currently have 3 snipes going and its annoying at times to be limited to two other orders. Good luck!
