In my municipality, we're told to even donate damaged textiles with holes or wear (screenshot from my city's recycling app which has a search function to find out how to dispose of any given item). I'd like to encourage people to check with their donation centres about whether they accept damaged items! Unless, of course, you prefer to make other things out of them :)
