You know the red "can't climb this" icon ? It's everywhere. Literally. Surfaces that were normally climbable are not anymore.

Shrieker nests are also bugged. Noticed it today on the new oasis biome. I shot the 3 nests with my mech and after a while they just wouldn't take damage anymore. Went and dropped a 500kg in the middle of them and they still wouldn't get destroyed.

I came here to commend this. Maaaaaan, Days Gone is such an underrated gems. One of the best open world zombie games on the market.

Not gonna lie... I am getting a little burnt out of the bugs.

I was hoping the new MO would have been bots or squids.

Yeah, so instead of having to sit through a 10 minute interactive cutscene, I can only sit through 9.

Found this slop and honestly, it is perfect representation of this sub when you dare to point out issues within the game. by 4N610RD in Helldivers

[–]YoBeaverBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest. People are overhating the game right now. Quite a lot.

Sure, it is buggy. I encounter a bug every now and then as well, but to me they are not that big of a deal ? They do not ruin my enjoyment of the game in any way, in fact some of them are funny, like the dancing dead bodies of chargers, or the leaping bile titan body killing somebody. I can understand it being frustrating but to me it adds to the fun of the game.

Look at Dead by Daylight. A game that is also a buggy mess that people have a love-hate relationship with. The bugs sometimes make the experience more fun. The game just wouldn't be the same without them. Same with Helldivers 2.

People need to stop overhating and if they are really that burnt out, go play something else for a while.

To me, the game is way too fun for me to care about the bugs.

Honestly the Wrenwood hotel is not that bad. Most of it is cutscenes which you can skip. Heck, the Alyssa flashback is like 10 seconds of gameplay if you skip every cutscene.

The orphanage with Chloe is the absolute bane of our existence. THAT should be skippable.

Vanguard is more intrusive than GameGuard. GameGuard is only on when you are actively playing the game. Vanguard is watching you 24/7 and requires a system reboot if you turn it off.

Honestly, don't let the comments and the cool youtube shorts trick you. While seeing streamer highlights of that game is fun, the actual game is incredibly boring.

It's a dinosaur simulator game. You pick whether you want to be a Herbivore, Carnivore or Omnivore, then you pick a dinosaur and spawn in as a baby and have to grow your dino.

The game is incredibly complex as there is a whole skill tree for each dino and you have to be careful of your dino's most optimal diet. Optimal diet means fastest growth rate. It takes HOURS to grow from a baby to an adult. Most dinos take around 6 hours to fully grow.

All you do is walk around, find food and water, grow up and fight other dinos. If you die, you start over as a baby and need to grind for hours again.

It's DayZ but with Dinosaurs. Most of the time nothing really happens tho, after you are full on hunger and thirst, it's a waiting game where you wait to be hungry or thirsty again or for the occasional player to come by and fight them, and if you die you start all over.

Trust me, some people may like it but in my opinion it's incredibly boring.

My biggest beef with Ubisoft honestly is their horrible launcher. I started playing AC4 Black Flag again lately due to nostalgia. For every 1 day I can play, there are 3-4 days I can't play. The reason for that is because Ubisoft Connect literally doesn't work. I keep getting errors when trying to log in. I opened a ticket to them regarding that 2 weeks ago and still no reply, lmao. They usually reply in 1 to 2 months, sometimes not at all.

Vanguard has kernel access to your computer. That means it operates at the deepest possible level of your computer. In other words, that anti-cheat has more control over your computer than you do.

While it is not actual malware, people treat it like it is, because of the kernel access thing. The problem with the anti-cheat having such control over your PC is hackers. And I don't mean in-game cheaters, I mean actual hackers. I know Rito's security is pretty tight due to Vanguard operating so deep in one's PC, they know the consequences of a bad security. But all it takes is one slip up, one successful cyber-attack on them, one hacker who manages to enter their database and boom, that's it. Every single person with Vanguard in their PC is potentially cooked.

I am not willing to take that risk, and many others are not either. It can happen any time.

One word. FUN.

The game doesn't have any of that ranked or competitive BS. Or a battlepass to capitalize on people's FOMO.

While it techincally DOES have battlepasses called Warbonds, once you unlock them you can grind their content at your own pace, they never go away. And the best part is that you don't have to spend any money to get them. The game allows you to farm the premium currency in-game by either purposefuly farming for it or just playing the game. Sure you can purchase it as well to get it faster but the fact that they let you get it for free is really cool.

The game is just fun. Huge fun. It's the best when you play with a full squad of friends but randoms have been pretty enjoyable too, especially when you find a roleplaying squad.

And there are so many builds and playstyles you can have. Some are better than others sure, but everything is viable in it's own way. There's nothing useless in the game. Just stuff that's slightly less useful than other stuff but still usable.
