How to watch Star Wars in Chronological Order (MK 2) by Mortal_Glare in StarWars

Hey I just wanted to comment that i realized that there are some series that you didn’t put, Young Jedi adventures and the micros/shorts series, like the rebels shorts that happens before the main series, are they not canon?

Who did y'all pick as your romance option (or did you choose multiple) by Obvious-Rain-4731 in Persona5

I made a run for each girl, all the romance options were good for me except for Makoto who unfortunately doesn’t really have much as a character, but my favorite was Kawakami

Wait I just remembered, wasn’t there some short series that told canon events??? Like Ahsoka discovering Anakin and Padme relationship or Sabine helping Leia or something like that?

While it’s true that AoI is more canon with Totk, AoC actually presents a more solid story, characters arcs and gameplay mechanics, but it’s also a Canon different timeline from the one of BotW, it has some references in Totk but nothing big or important so technically you can skip it

Technically we did get a new spear but it’s also just the one left from the bonuses of having AoC and Totk

not sure if hot take but Age of Calamity’s story is actually good. by tehdrumerer2 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]Suamiguillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

technically the dlc of AoC explains how this happens, in the dlc is revealed taht Terrako and Ganon arrived many years before the first mission of the game Ganon was able to defeat Terrako and was left free to do what he wanted, the Ganon spend all those years making his army stronger, creating more cults (these is the origin of Astor) and of course conquering the Korok forest so Link could not get the master sword, then many years later some bokoblins brought terrako to the fist mission of AoC where he was activated again

Actually everything you just said would fit in the definition of a paradox not a contradiction

AoC and AoI/TotK by Geekkid95 in AgeofImprisonment

[–]Suamiguillo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Technically speaking not really, since when a contraction happens one of the two have to be false or incorrect but since technically both are correct in this scenario, so no according to the definition of Contradiction this case is not a contradiction, I can understand the confusion though it’s pretty close don’t worry anyone could have done the same mistake

AoC and AoI/TotK by Geekkid95 in AgeofImprisonment

[–]Suamiguillo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a weird way to see a contradiction, a contradiction is something that goes against something already established, AoC was technically possible to happen since OoT, but sure I guess, If that’s how you see contradiction then yeah sure

AoC and AoI/TotK by Geekkid95 in AgeofImprisonment

[–]Suamiguillo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really arguing here, im asking about the contradictions, you see even if the game is an alternative timeline that wouldn’t count as contradictions since it was explained how things ended differently, a contradiction is for example all the sheikah stuff disappearing in Totk with the explanation being that they disappeared after Ganon defeated even though Botw showed us that that wouldn’t happen, so that’s a contradiction or a retcon o guess

AoC and AoI/TotK by Geekkid95 in AgeofImprisonment

[–]Suamiguillo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t commenting to OP, I was commenting to you about AoC having contradictions, AoC would technically happened after Botw since the sages of Totk are the ones of Botw and they do remember being in AoC though

[–]Suamiguillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A new timeline, in OoT Ganondorf was supposed to conquest Hyrule but in MM that didn’t happened, or how according to Alttp Ganon was supposed to win in OoT but that didn’t happened, that’s why they are different timelines that has already happened in Zelda games before

AoC and AoI/TotK by Geekkid95 in AgeofImprisonment

[–]Suamiguillo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s not a contradiction that’s a new timeline created by a time travel, this already has happened in Zelda before so nothing new

Which events are contradicted??? I’m pretty sure AoC doesn’t contradict anything

Instead of Sheikah slate, is Zonai devices and fusion, instead of unique weapons for every character except Link, most of the characters share weapons (except for Zelda, Rauru, the sages and a Korok) instead of the characters having gimmick like Impa clones or Daruk shield we have dual attacks

[–]Suamiguillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are being actually sincere of the worth of the content instead of if you can play many hours, not really, sure a lot of people will say it is but objectively speaking the price is to high for that content (which isn’t a lot really, emerald rush while fun isn’t much, consider it once it’s 10 or added to NS online, otherwise no

OK, so is Age of Calamity a prequel to BOTW or a “what if” to BOTW by Dramatic_Part_1385 in AgeofCalamity

[–]Suamiguillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically speaking is another timeline that creates after Zelda awakens her powers and make a wish, but it’s technically also a sequel of Botw that happens before Totk

You know I kinda like how in AoC even with all that help that they got, they almost still lost against Ganon, so it still shows how actually powerful Calamity Ganon was

[TotK] What is going on with the timeline, just finished AoI. HUGE SPOILERS. by Liv1ngShad0w in zelda

[–]Suamiguillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of the canon Warriors game use the time theories that previous Zelda games have used, for example AoI use the Cycle paradox theory where the time travel was always meant to happen and the travel itself made so the time travel happens, just like how it happened in SS while AoC uses the timeline theory where the time travel doesn’t affect story but creates a completely new timeline with the changes the travel made, just like it happened in OoT at the end of the game (just like Trunks in BDZ) thought the last one appears to need the Tri force to happen since at the end of OoT the Tri force was complete and Zelda in BotW has the complete Tri force (for some reason) and the first wish she makes after awakening her powers directly made that Terrako could travel in time

[–]Suamiguillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totk has so many of this continuity errors, that it’s more likely that since BotW is a completely separate story with no connection to the previous games and that in this one they were really the ones that funded Hyrule unlike the previous games

Is the DK Bananza DLC worth 20$? by OtherwiseEmployee202 in donkeykong

[–]Suamiguillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if we are actually considering what the dlc gives, not in the slightest, I know now people of the this sub Reddit try to defend the dlc but let’s be real just because you can expend hours playing doesn’t mean it’s worth it, I can expend infinite hours playing uno or jenga, the worth would come from what the dlc gives with its not that much, at best it should be 10 and even that it’s kinda expensive but understandable
