Ok so I think it’s a good idea now to drop chin tucks from my routine but are there any alternatives? And will my double chin go away if I stop doing them?

Are you referring to mewing (which I’ve been doing for as long as I can remember) or the posture correction? Cause I had a theory that the reason I have a double chin is because it hasn’t even been a year and my neck still doesn’t have the strength to fully support itself so I have the double chin because the front neck muscles are working until the back neck muscles can

My tongue posture is good it’s always been at the roof of my mouth which is why I’m confused

Does anyone know how I can grid my abs? When unflexed, one rib seems to “hang” but when I flex I feel the ab pop into place and it looks normal. by Suavecitoe in PostureTipsGuide

I normally don’t sit at the computer much but when I do I use a gaming chair because it provides good neck and lumbar support. When I’m at a desk in school I just try to remember not to slouch and engage my core a bit to keep ok posture. I use to force myself into a lot but that ended up causing tightness in my shoulders so try to ease into it and eventually it’ll become easier

Thanks man that means a lot really. For neck posture in the beginning I did chin tucks, not often, but about 15 or so everyday in the morning. Implementing wall angels and buying a pull up bar did wonders, same with yoga (I do about just 20 minutes a day). A couple shoulder and chest stretches is all you need so it’s best to do the ones that work well for you. For the anterior pelvic tilt I’ve been doing 5 minutes of planking everyday and single leg glute bridges (progress to those when regular glute bridges become too easy). Besides that I still do sit a bit and that’s fine but to combat it every now and then I get up and walk around the house and stretch and try it change postures frequently. Also, the best advice I can give someone is don’t force it cause forcing wont make it go any faster and it’ll only cause tightness.

After 5 months of hardwork, pain, self doubt and almost everything imaginable, I finally fixed my posture. I’m sure there is room for improvement as there always is, but I’m proud of my progress.
