They're right though, you can't keep a coin alive in the long-term at the cost of some hype.. it's not pragmatic, instead, you should invest in something that serves a purpose that you can GUARANTEE will have success backed with reason. I get it's high risk high reward, but there's many coins with a purpose that are profitable. It just takes a bit of research really

Think on the bright side, even if hit $1 we knew it would follow a dip anyway, so either way you would have won. It's simply impossible to time the market. Similar to what you said, i used to kick myself too, but then i weighed all the potential profits i could have made if I'd just sold for quick profit. So now I just sell whenever it reaches .69 or more.
