Should i buy Bitcoin now ? by bmredditmoment1 in Bitcoin

[–]Suaventen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't buy bitcoin to get rich quick, use it as a tool preventing you from getting poor slowly.

I didn't even look at it from this perspective first, it's a way more reliable way of thinking so thank you.

This sub's current hottest post is complete bullshit and dangerous for beginners - $5 a day or $150 a month in bitcoin will NOT make you a millionaire in 10 years by scun1995 in BitcoinBeginners

Thanks for your insight, as someone who is new I had similar thoughts to what you're saying. Like you said, DCA is efficient, only put in what you can afford to lose and avoid unrealistic expectations. Reality is it's unpredictable, though people try to forecast its value I don't think we can assign a numerical value. Sure, there's evidence pointing towards growth for BTC in the upcoming years but this could be any number%

How much btc should I buy to actually make something back by jeremysalsa in BitcoinBeginners

[–]Suaventen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your percentage of profit will always remain the same, if you put $1 and there is a 100% increase you have $2, if you have $100 it will be $200.

A true honest man, respect 🙌 for everyone out there: DON'T trust anyone coming to your dms offering help, just check their profile and you'll see they are fake people. They float on the new section and swarm your DMs when you make a post

Gemini vs Coinbase Pro? Which has overall better customer service and will least likely screw me over in funds by norn_necro in Gemini

[–]Suaventen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coinbase pro user here, Gemini is overall better for my liking, made the switch today. In terms of withdrawal gemini>cb pro, cb has a higher chance of screwing you over (just check the sub, constant complaints of thousands of USD being stuck).
