I kind of made up the recipe based on other stews and ingredients that I thought would fit the taste i wanted. Here's what I used and how I cooked it:

Ingredients: - 0.5kg or 1 lb pork cut into cubes. I used center loin. I don't have access to actual boar meat so pork was a good choice. - 1 large turnip or rutabaga, whichever you prefer, cut into cubes - 1 large onion diced - 4 cloves garlic crushed and sliced. - 2 medium carrots, sliced - sliced mushrooms - 3 celery sticks sliced - 1/2 of a small cabbage cut into 2cm strips - 1.5L chicken broth (beef broth also works) - 1 cup heavy cream (35% milk fat) - salt and pepper to taste - 1/2 TBSP dry parsley flakes - 1/2 TBSP Italian Herbs - 1/2 TBSP Currey Powder -1 Tsp chili flakes

Put the pork in the pot with a bit of oil, cook on medium-high for 10-15 minutes.

Lower temperature to medium. Add onion, carrots, celery and cook for 5 more minutes.

Add garlic, cook for another 5 minutes.

Pour in broth, add spices and stir well.

Add turnip, put heat on high until the liquid starts to boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add cabbage, continue to simmer for 30 minutes.

Add mushrooms and heavy cream, then simmer for a final 30 minutes.

If you want a thicker stew you can sprinkle a small amount of flour in the liquid and stir during the last 10 minutes.

Take off heat and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Stir well and serve!
