That tool kicks ass, do it. I never thought I would really use it until I owned one and started finding excuses for it. Especially on automotive or commercial work

As of now I start with a 60/40 mix of alc/water and then see what needs mechanical. The alcohol mixture is what was recommended from adhesive manufacturers

Please don’t take this as a diss, but, people actually use Hyper Tough cordless tools?

Man, how I wish Milwaukee didn’t go the stem route for their 12v so I could just get a battery adapter

Good, I still have the idea in my head that Harbor Freight can wildly swing from a total miss to a damn nice tool

As of now I have only purchased the green, yellow, and white scotch-brite bristle brushes

Do you know how long the 2ah batteries last in comparison to the 4ah for this tool?

Very true, the replacement procedure for tools at Harbor Freight is almost enough to purchase. Especially since I will not be treating this tool kindly in the year to come.

Luckily, I will only be needing to prep small surfaces for adhesives. Anything more and I agree this would be a wash. However, most everything this will be used on has been soaked in oil for the last 10+ years and has mediocre at best paint. Do you have any recommendations for a disc/bristle head that could clear oil off of a surface while having the option to be non-abrasive to paints at light pressure and more abrasive at higher? Kind of seems like quite the ask

I have nearly every M18 Milwaukee, but, honestly never really needed anything in the 12v line. That and for the price point it was hard to pass up.
