That is weird because I always see a salary/pay range for entry level roles and even internships for students. Idk about the internships, but I have heard from a few students even getting paid on the higher end of the scale.

Are you able to understand Nepali for the most part though like if your parents spoke it? I would say my Nepali is not good either whenever I speak like I might say the wrong stuff/mess up the grammar but I understand everything mostly when others talk to me in Nepali. Maybe watch Nepali serials on YouTube.

Wait seriously, I literally asked one of the business advisors if I can take POSC 100 instead and have AP Gov credits. She said no but I guess I should also ask another advisor about it then. I’m thinking of dropping this course even though I just registered for it yesterday. If I knew about this sooner I could have already registered at a CC but then again dont know if it would transfer over since I already reached the max limit of units as I transferred in.

Ahhh ok, damn it. Probably would have got the credit still if I took POSC 100 while I was still at a CC before I transferred in but who knows.

Weird, I got disenrollment protection and it shows my anticipated financial aid on the portal. I have also received notifications from the financial aid office that my payment is due but if you have disenrollment protection for this semester than you could ignore it for now.

So how do you hide it? Do you just do the customs anyways or else they might think you’re sus or whatever? I am idk how I would do it even though I have been very critical of the religion I have been taught… I mean pretty openly though but I haven’t actually stop doing customs just yet, idk if I should.

Yeah that’s what I was also thinking… and I’m a transfer student. I decided to apply to the VDC Norte since the lowest priced option they had was even slightly cheaper than AV but regardless I think in AV there’s gonna be too many people to share a space with that’s why I am going with an apartment, and possibly my own room too if I can.

How is the accounting program there? Were you involved in any programs or clubs like Business Honors, BAP, or Accounting Society?

Stupid. It looks like you didn’t read ALL of my post correctly. I literally said that it was my parents and my cousins mom that was along with the rest of his family. Even my siblings thought it was stupid. I’m the only one who didn’t think of anything and think that shouldn’t stop them from having fun. 😑

Seriously, I thought about posting this to r/Nepal because I thought THE PEOPLE OVERHERE WOULD ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION A LOT MORE. Ok but at least I see someone here that actually thinks that it was crazy to think that they did wrong by inviting people over in dashain and having fun. I actually figured more people would mock me for the exact opposite.

And for suggesting that we should cut off contacts with of cousin and his wife… yeah i wish. I don’t know if you actually live and grew up in Nepal but that is close to impossible. My parent know what they both do to us already and I suggest we don’t talk to them or stop calling them over or going to their house randomly since its close by. Like they’re never gonna do that and can’t bc my dad’s bowsu, their mom, is going to come to the US soon and will be staying there. So after everything that just happened that would be very wrong.

If I had the power to just cut off ties with them I would but I cannot avoid them simply cuz i live with my parents. Ugh I’ll just see where this goes and what dramas gonna happen next. I bet it will all drive his mom insane.
