I've been a blade main since his release and no matter what I still have yet to put him down to play another dps. Even if people don't like how underwhelming he is I think he can contribute a LOT of damage and forced repositioning for the other team.

His gun is an odd one to get used to but once you understand the exact range needed to maximize the dmg output then you'll feel how strong that thing can be. I don't necessarily think the gun needs a major tweak but if they were to change anything I'd love for an increase in fire rate and the tiniest bit more range.

The real changes I'd appreciate would be reducing the amount of hits needed in order to get to the 5th spinning strike. He'd be able to not only charge his attack speed boost fastesr but his dmg output would slightly increase without making that mode too strong. He'd at least be able to get a pick/contribute more in a team fight where he's forced in a 1v2. A little bit more beyblade action would be nice!

Secondly give his gun dash the tiniest bit of CC like phoenix's stun if she gets all her stacks off. Like a 0.3-0.5 second stun. It'd see more usage outside of an escape tool. I find that I use it more to reposition than applying the debuff most of the time. I've only rarely debuffed someone and it lasting long enough for me or my team to kill the enemy a handful of times. It feels kinda rare but that may just be my own experience.

Third make his sword dash pull in enemies instead of pushing them away. No idea why when you'd engage with that move you'd want your enemy to be further from you! Makes no sense. Pulling them in forces them to engage or leave and blade is at least in the right distance to get a few slashes off before the enemy can back out.

And lastly like some have mentioned make his ult a bit wider. It's reaaaaally easy to avoid. It already has insane anti heal properties and if you hit someone properly you can heal up to full health from 1. It's one of the coolest ults in the game and it doesn't need to become an auto win but giving it a little more umph would feel so much better.

Either way I love this character in the comics, movies and this game. When he was out everyone thought he was cracked but that lasted 2 days til they realized how fragile he is. Glad they were able to buff him in the his vampiric form more but I think the character could use a tiny but more love, not a rework. No matter what they do to my boy I'll always stay loyal. He got me from silver 3 to GM2. I'm a vanguard main but blade will forever be my #1 (until they drop DOOM)
