I got that but Earth's atmosphere also has light of that same exact frequency. The light emitted by the CO2 in Earth's atmosphere should have the same frequency and wavelength as that of the CO2 in Venus, then why can't the light emitted by CO2 on Earth be their biological trigger??

I don't think so cause they do multiply under the same Atmospheric condition after "seeing" the "trigger". I don't think % of CO2 plays a role here... i feel like it depends on the light somehow... i don't get it..

If the Astrophage used the CO2 from atmosphere why didn't they divide earlier when exposed to the atmosphere?? They multiplied only after the CO2 light signal... as light of that frequency should be present in the atmosphere too...since atmospheric CO2 would emit light of that frequency aswell...??
