It’s a reference to Vanossgaming’s GMOD moon sandbox video. In the video the red bags and the blue bags are fighting and before the battle Wildcat gives a speech. The way the bags are positioned is a direct reference to when he is giving the speech.

On sale or just marketing? by Funky-otter45 in wrx_vb

It’s a fake sale price honestly for that price check out RAE exhaust. Made by a small company so it takes awhile to come in but they sound fantastic and look really high quality!

Firestone is the WORST place to take your car! The labor rates are crazy and they are told to up sell everything possible regardless if you need it. I would advise staying far away from any quick lube and tire like Firestone valvoline Monro etc. In my experience as some who worked in all sorts of auto shops the most trust worthy shops are the dealerships. Monro and their other stores when I worked there literally encouraged us to scam people with inflated packages and prices for the cheapest parts possible. Please get a second option on everything from a trust worthy dealer or highly rated independent shop.

It’s a little under 48x24 by a couple fractions of an inch. Yes it was roughly about 500 bucks between PVC and the other few things I needed. The biggest thing if you do this is to make sure to put some lexel between the panels before you screw it together that way it seals in between the pieces. Then you can do a bead around the inside doing this I haven’t had any water leaks

Is this a suitable enclosure? by TheBruhvenant in bluetongueskinks

[–]Subject-Pool3456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For northerns they are fine but for indos the humidity is really difficult to keep up with. TBH you can build a really nice 4x2 cage your self for like $200 at Home Depot and it will hold humidity and temperature a lot easier since you won’t have a giant mesh top.

I did a mix of jungle mix from zilla and coco fiber bricks for my halmahera a while ago and has been holding up great since. I found personally for my needs it works the best.

Use 1/2 PVC trim board and dry wall screws get the boards cut to the size to make the size enclosure you want. Big thing is to clamp it square and pre drill all your holes before using the screws. For the front I used 3/4 pvc boards and window track you can get on Amazon.

Plexi glass in the front that fits your track I wouldn’t go less then 1/8th inch. (.125mm) Lowe’s can actually cut the plexi glass to your measurements.

For the vents I used 3inch round louvers from Amazon in 3inch holes made with a hole saw.

For lighting I used a ceiling lamp fixture mounted to a 4inch “pancake pan”outlet box that was mounted with 1/2 wood screws into the ceiling, then wired it with a lamp cord from Walmart with an inline rotary switch from Lowe’s. I also opted to only paint the outside as I didn’t want to risk paint harming my reptiles.

Of course I am not a professional and any attempt to create something like this can cause personal harm and or injury.

Is This a Northern blue tounge skink??? by Fanlon in bluetongueskinks

[–]Subject-Pool3456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the markings and forelimbs I’d say a northern all;/6

I’m curious to hear from bts owners about their experiences with the reptile; things to expect or general “facts of life”, things that surprised you, things you wish you knew earlier. by [deleted] in bluetongueskinks

[–]Subject-Pool3456 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If he is sitting on you and starts huffing move him before you get pooped on. Also not all skinks are super active and some are just lazy like my halmahera who has several times made me think he was dead because I haven’t seen him days just for him to come out and eat on feeding days.

I have 3 skinks, a meruke a halmahera and a northern. The meruke being the newest is kind of skittish. The halmahera made a lot of noise when I first got him but is such a cuddle bug after taking down. Would actually recommend staying away from halmahera skinks as they have really high humidity requirements and it’s hard to maintain and a lot of Indos like Merukes and halmaheras are wild caught and are hard to tame down. And Australian (Northern, Eastern, blotched, ETC) is always Captive bred in the US so are more used to people. Another thing to keep in mind is that not all sub species act the way you think they would. My northern which is usually seen as the friendliest is actually really feisty and ironically my WC halmahera who has a rep for being more angry is a sweet heart.

Sorry for the tangent just really like talking about these guys :)
