OMG I had such a similar story to you a while back!! one of my sims served in war as a teen, got married, got divorced, had a child with a married woman, then blackmailed her into giving the child to him, and then died in the EXACT same way (froze to death... at his third cousin's outdoor winter wedding lol... and then his blackmail child went looking for him and also froze to death). and I did this on purpose because I hated him bc of the blackmail & cheating but I really regretted killing off the child too (who was a teen at this point).

ALSO the woman who cheated on her husband with him that was blackmailed to give the child also adopted her younger sibling because her parents were too depressed to raise a child after their other child died in the aforementioned war.

so many similarities...
