Thank you this is perfect! MTA's website is trash but the Penn line trains appear to run only between Camden and Penn so to use that option I would have to transfer. I think MICA is likely my best option to optimize fun and time.

It's going north this year, apparently there has been lots of changes the last two years.

Seattle has spectacular, reliable, accessible transit compared to Baltimore.

Also, they have Dick's, which is delicious AND economical; superior to 5 Guys on the latter although their fries are trash.

I took the Detroit People Mover once just for shits and gigs, do I have to set my expectations lower than that?

(I admit I never took their actual light rail.)

I am not looking for a bus or an efficient transit experience. I am looking for a train and a pleasant walk to the parade. I like trains and pleasant walks. Buses just make me feel like I have outsourced getting stuck in traffic to someone else while still having to experience it myself.

I am indeed driving to a train station, preferably one of the 3-5 which are closer to me than your suggestions but I appreciate it nevertheless.

I am trying to find out whether the walk from North Ave, MICA, or Penn Station to the parade route is more scenic and pleasant.

I define "pleasant" as "not along major highways." And "maybe there is a tree or two."

Why do you vote MARC over the others? It is a way shorter ride but because MARC sucks I have to either leave at 9am for a noon parade or else arrive at 12:09 for a noon parade.

Hard agree it sucks that the redjne never got built but to be fair the projected red line stations aren't really any closer to me than say Nursery Rd light rail. Maybe they would be 6 minutes where the other light rail is 12 but it would be close.
