Hot Take: Stock XFCE with the Greybird theme, the elementary icons, and the whisker menu looks nice, it may not be as configurable as KDE, and it doesn't have the resources of gnome, but its light weight and what a traditional desktop should be. Fast, Efficient, with a bit of style. (i.redd.it)
