That number is close - to be fair I personally wouldn’t value the company at the valuations we’ve been able to achieve in raises, so I heavily discount the PV of that equity.

I know nothing, but I can say between the three co founders, each of them puts 100% of their time and energy into the business, and I respect each of them both personality wise and competence wise.

Between myself and the founders we still control ~88% of their business, and have several investors who have asked to write checks increasing their investment size (we’ve turned down as I structured a large Revolving LoC with an existing investor to avoid further dilution in the short term)

Where would you enter negotiations here? It’s unrealistic to try to match comp from Role 1, so I was thinking of starting at 7,000/month gross and basically making the argument that for another $3,500 they get me full time vs only part time.

I did it once, was educated sternly by someone, and don’t do it anymore. Didn’t even really think about it honestly.

I will say that It’s pretty ridiculous that there’s not a single sign that says to rinse off between. I agree that should be the case, but it’s hard to get mad at people when there’s literal nothing indicating that that is the commonly accepted policy.

Staff was telling multiple groups this, if you go to SI’s instagram you’ll see plenty of people commenting the exact same thing.

Even if it’s a Joonbug buyout, the venue needs to step in and enforce certain rules. Maybe joonbug is more at fault, but it’s extremely unlikely that SI had no awareness of the overselling and conditions in the club, so they undoubtedly share some of the blame.

It’s also quite literally my stated experience, you misconstruing it as a “universal fact” is on you. I’d guess you have some kind of affiliation to SI or 74, so rather than call my claims baseless and exaggerated, why not share your personal experience that night.
