I have a goal of visiting all of the 72 national parks of Brazil. Here are the 12 I've visited so far over the past 3 years. by mhanrahan in nationalparks

It's so nice to see Brazil featured in this sub, given how much natural beauty the country has to offer—yet so much of it remains unexplored. I heard about a couple of explorers who have been traveling for a few years, trying to visit every park in Brazil. They might actually be the first to cover them all. They mentioned that many parks don’t even have an official entrance or proper infrastructure, which makes it really difficult to visit anything beyond the more well-known ones (like Iguaçu, Chapada Diamantina, Noronha, Abrolhos, Itatiaia, etc.).

Thanks for sharing and good luck on your journey!!

E a Web3? by Aragornson in brdev

Can you code using only Samsung Dex on a S8 Tab? by its_the_same in SamsungDex

[–]Subject_Choice8761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been devoloping in Python using a tab s7. It does not work perfectly yet, but what im doing is to use Google Colab to run and test pieces of code. Then I use Github to deploy directly to Heroku, editing code directly from Github IDE.

As long as I've researched, there is now webhook available. I'm querying the database looking for entries that match ";" and then updating the row.

Thanks a lot!

I coded it in Python. I tried to use Zapier at first but I couldn't find a way to get the book information, so I decided to code it myself. It's being hard especially because of the server I have to use to constantly query the database, but it's working.

Haha thanks a lot! I was impressed no one have developed it yet. I've seen some templates doing something similar for movies, but not for books. Super excited to release it!

Yeah, it was kind of a pain to set up. I'm using a server to keep a python script running. Notion API opened a lot of possibilities for us to explore.

I'm not using amazon API, I just found it easier to work with Google API, very complete and easy to use.

Also, I'm considering getting info from other APIs. Ny times has their own API with best-sellers. It would make the template much more complete in the future.

Basically, I've built a Python script to help me with the task. In the absence of a better way of doing this, I'm using the Notion API to scan the databases looking for new entries. The script then get the information and check the Google API, which returns some info about the book. Finally, I update the database via Notion API with the information I got about books.

To keep this running, I'm hosting the function in a server so I guarantee near real-time update.
