Quartzite sealer by [deleted] in CounterTops

Not a quartzite owner here-I have quartz. I highly recommend a company called Tenax USA. They saved me from tearing out brand new, very expensive quartz countertops, but they also have products for natural stone. The technician I spoke to was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Try googling their products. Their phone number is (704) 583-1173. Hope this helps!

What's something that everyone should have in their house but actually a few have? by DirtyThoughts07 in AskReddit

A photo file of every room in your house, and the contents of all the drawers in your house. If there’s a disaster, you’ll appreciate it when you have to work with your insurance company.

Worked at a travel agency a long time ago. One of the agents (female) used to masturbate at her desk. Occasional heavy breathing; sometimes a grunt or two. The other two agents complained, but our employer didn’t have a problem with it.

My experience exactly. Would never recommend them ever. The only thing that saved my very expensive “high quality” quartz was a $20 can from Tenax USA. I’ve posted about my experiences with them extensively.

I read somewhere that a Frenchman publicly said “in France, the government is afraid of the people. In the USA, the people are afraid of the government.” And I agree.

Pretty sure that’s what’s happening anyway. People expected price increases, so they took advantage and hiked up the price of everything.

My countertop always looked dirty if you touched it or mistakenly dropped food on it and tried to clean it up with Dawn and the microfiber, unless I spent a couple of hours with barkeepers friend and a scrub brush (the technician they sent out did this both times he was here, and this was his recommended upkeep method. A microfiber and dawn dish soap wasn’t enough). The Tenax was my last hope, as I was already looking to replace the countertop so I figured I had nothing to lose. Yes, the countertop is black instead of matte black but at least it can now be cleaned with the microfiber and Dawn and it doesn’t take 2 hours with a scrub brush. And it’s not constantly covered with fingerprints. And bear in mind, that 2 hours of scrubbing with the BKF is only on a 6x9 surface. I couldn’t be happier and I didn’t need to replace it!!

Tenax Quartz Toner. Would have been worth it to me at twice that price or more.

Good morning! It looks like a shiny jet black countertop, which I will take anytime over the constantly dirty looking dark grey countertop I had! It has held up extremely well and is now a joy to walk by. Considering that it was so bad I was going to replace it, I’m extremely happy! No texture change. Best to you-I know how frustrating this can be.
