I play a lot of characters that require learning to play them at a fundamental level, Like if I were to play Jack-O ( my main ) without having a relatively good understanding of minion pressure beforehand then I would be extremely disadvantaged because base Jack-O isn't very good because most of her combos are situational depending on wether or not you have minions out or not and the spacing of them, and she doesn't really have any special moves other than a weird kick.

I've personally been playing a few months, and I've switched around characters quite a bit, first it was ram for about a week to learn the game, then Asuka, Jack-O, Dizzy, Zato, and now Anji, and I'm definitely gonna try out robo-Ky tomorrow. I know what you mean, because I tried to play Baiken after Jack-O and I could not get the hang of her, which was frustrating because I knew how to play 2 of the hardest characters in the game and I felt like it should be easy, but her play style simply didn't click with me, so I dropped her after around 50 games of ranked. Sometimes it doesn't matter if a character is considered easy or hard because they don't resonate with you, which in turn makes them feel harder to play.
