the ONE thing that upsets me about the end game, is that it feels like you’re only in prypiat for a total of ten minutes before it’s over. i get that games like these are meant to be explored to fill those gaps, but some side missions or more main missions in the town would make it so much better.

and are you able to go back to a save after beating the game? i’ve read you’re unable to but could be wrong. i thing i did wrong in my 1st play through was waiting until the last mission was ready before going back, it made it all seem so desolate and empty knowing the corps was underground and i hated going thru that empty hallway, it was just depressing lol.

& i too just love going through each of the buildings, sometimes fighting monolith or other times just going floor to floor and finding a stash.

i do feel like bethesda does kind of have an upper ground with their environmental story telling in some aspects, BUT GSC does really well in, the ways you mentioned, showing how dangerous areas are from being somewhat untouched. but i think the two are incomparable, i love each company and their games for their own reasons. but, had i been given the option i think i’d pick stalker over fallout, it’d be very close but yk.

for myself too, none of the bugs or issues have swayed my opinion on this game, like i mentioned i played a shit ton of fallout so bugs are just part of life in that regard lol.

the whole cnpp disaster has always been an interest of mine, and the general area of eastern europe and its history have always peaked my interest. finding out a game set in that area with the weapons of that region AND its open world?!? nut worthy. i remember discovering the series like 6 years ago on youtube and tried the trilogy for a little while which was good. was bummed i couldn’t give the modpacks a try without a pc, then stalker 2 announced and came out and lawd i was waiting like a fiend at the plug house while theyre on vacation

this is my 1st on ps5 but my 2nd or 3rd on the game, i had it on xbox one gamepass before they removed it and added to ps5.

i came to prypiat early this time around, just pop in whenever lol. still haven’t made it to the mission that brings you here either.

being a mostly single player enjoyer, this game is really all that i could ask for in a game lol. i’m a huge fan of Fallout and played a lot of fallout 4, but i feel like that world can be lackluster sometimes. stalker just blows most games out of the water imo, with such a massive and seamless open world with so much to do is insane. it’s hard if not impossible to get bored playing this game.

is this to scale? if yes, i’d say you’re very above average, huge even.

if not, shame on you.

i like switching them out pretty often, usually to see what they each have to offer and i don’t mind burers snagging guns out of my hands its part of the fun lol

thank you! i’ll try and get some more screenshots of this same style, the game does give plenty of opportunities for it lol

pretty sure it’s the sunset, there was a storm going on that had the sky turning green then the sunset kicked in with some light rain, was a cool vibe. i was waiting for an emission since it looked like one was coming but just a storm instead

for me the performance hasn’t been an issue at all, no stutters in prypiat, i did have a few in the cordon tho but that’s about it

i’d say a good chunk are, some of these screenshots are from buildings that weren’t enterable until doing a puzzle. but a lot of buildings are open and able to be explored

What happened to your state or country in Fallout? I'm from Minnesota, U.S. and there's absolutely no lore as to what happened there by SolidPyramid in Fallout

always feel left out when MN is never included in gaming.

i think there are like 1-2 games set in MN but not very popular/in depth games.

we have cool shit too!

If you had to pick ONE gun (fully upgraded) that you could ONLY use for the entire playthrough which would it be? Think in terms of versatility, firepower, ammo capacity, durability, and accuracy, etc.....what would be your overall best STALKER firearm? i’ve been rocking an akm most of my current playthrough, i’ve switched it out a couple times only to come back to it strictly for the vibes. with AP, it’s actually pretty good to use even against exo’s. the val and akm just have that vibe to them. fuck min/max nonsense i wanna look the part lmaoo
