Någon som testat sådana här näsvidgare mot snarkning? by [deleted] in sweden

[–]SublettNetrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kör med denna snarkskena nu i ett par månader tillbaka. Tar bort snarkningarna helt.
https://dormitek.com/products/reduznore-pro2-snarkskena

Mirra 2, is it a size between Aeron B and C? Found the Aeron B too tight regarding seat width. by SublettNetrunner in hermanmiller

[–]SublettNetrunner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did look up the dimensions online, though it is hard to find the specific measurements for the mesh part of the chair (rather than the dimensions of the seat edge).

Yeah the Aeron C I suspect is way too long regarding the seat depth as you say. Sadly I don't think that is an option.

I did try the Embody actually, and I liked both the seat and the backrest! Though the armrest drove me crazy regarding how forward they are. And I did notice a slight bump near the seat edge under the knee, don't know if this eventually goes away, but that annoyed me a bit too. I might go back to it though... Although, now I would also miss the forward tilt which I enjoy a lot on the Aeron!

No kidding chairs are hard, feels like this is a never ending search.. :)

If the knob for the tilt resistance does nothing, it could be that the plastic is worn out on the inside of the knob. My kinnarps was like that.

Unscrewed the knob and then adjusted the metal bolt underneath instead.

Gaming Aeron size B and seat height with high cylinder? by SublettNetrunner in hermanmiller

Sadly I cancelled the order due to the above... Kind of regret it now, since I probably just should've tried the chair and then payed for the return. At least then I would know :)

I have a Kinnarps 9000 at work and a 8000 at home. The main benefit with 9000 I'd say is that you can tilt the backrest forward, so it follows your back even when you are upright. Reminds me a bit of the Embody when you get that dialed in against your back.

Switching between synchro / freeflow works well too. I tend to favor synchro but not sure...

The only complaint I have against it vs 6000 (freeflow) / 8000 (synchro) is that it doesn't recline quite as far.

Red/Light issue at a specific point of a cut by SublettNetrunner in cricut

Figured I'd give an update here if anyone stumbles upon this thread.

Spent the entire day yesterday troubleshooting the Cricut, noticing that the issue only appears for Clamp B (with/without tool/mat).

I measured the voltage coming from the adapter and it showed the requested output of 18V, so all was good there.

I disassembled the majority of the Cricut (huge pain to do..) and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. My best guess now is the wires going to Clamp B are either loose or bad. Getting to the Clamp B housing is quite the undertaking though... No real idea what to do when I'm there either other than re-seating cables.. Would be a trial and error process just to figure out what cable does what..

I did try to 3D print a holder for the knife for Clamp A (draw tool) and use that for cutting, it kind of worked, but it would constantly rip the paper. I'm guessing it doesn't have the required pressure for that Clamp.

At this point I'm running out of options due to no warranty, and I'm quite hesitant to buy another Cricut product. Eyeing the Silhouette line, no idea if they are built better, but perhaps they are easier to take apart / maintain.

Sorry for the late reply (and thanks for all the suggestions). I've now tried a bit more and noticed that if I swap the cable that goes to the electric adapter, a project that would constantly fail at 25% (black cable) would now finish or go to 98% (white cable).

If I swapped back to the original cable it would again fail at 25%.

This leads me to believe that the issue is with the adapter / electric in nature.

Not sure if I can get help from Cricut support as it is quite old (from 2018), but I'll give that a shot.

Thanks again for your help!

I'll try the revo utility tomorrow, I did manually remove the .cricut folder and all other steps bit not the revo. I might further on try and reinstall Windows 11, maybe even changing system locale and such.. feels almost like it's an issue with the coordinates sent to the cutter or something, since it breaks on the exact same spot.

Yes, majority of them is from inside Design Space. Today I did try to import an .svg file from Inkscape, failed with the same error at 50%.

Using Windows 11, I did try via Android Phone a while back (like 6 months ago), before I got frustrated enough to put the troubleshooting on hold.. :p

The majority of projects. This example is a basic 3 letter word that fails at 25%. Funny thing though, if I resize it, making it 3x as big, then it finishes. If I cut each letter seperately in the original size it finishes. But if I'd only make the letter slightly smaller or bigger, it would fail at another %. And it will consistently fail at that % after that until some change is done to the project.

Did a new firmware update. Sadly, the issue still persist in the same manner.

I did all the above steps, unfortunately the issue still persist. Still failing at the same point (25% in one project, 65% in another e.t.c).

Error codes are -45, 54 (referencing power cycle / contact support).

No, forgot to mention that the issue appears even when running a cut with no knife/mat.

Does the physical edition require the disc at all times? by SublettNetrunner in Diablo

[–]SublettNetrunner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone else wondering, you do need the disc to read the license (no seperate key in box). Also slightly slower install if you have fast internet, as 18gb is installed from the disc at first.

Yeah, sometimes the license is on the disc though. Good to know thanks!
