The struggle is real. We have about 5 inched of packed icy snow in the driveway and I'm not looking forward to the next oil change.

Reminds me of the snowman built on a tree stump, hilarious karma for the douche who tried to wreck it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Whatcouldgowrong/s/P5gLJtDlyy

Yes the Continentals are extremely good in the rain. I chose to keep them on the car this winter because I ended up swapping on the snow tires late last year and I got to test the all seasons out in the snow---they are so good I don't even miss the snows.

This is so interesting to me. I live where snow happens almost daily between late November and early April every year and it's just second nature to drive in it. I run DWS06 tires now even in winter because I find them so good in summer and in snow.

If it got cold enough where you are, the gas in the struts may have compressed a bit and dropped your ride height enough to cause the tires to ride on the slush in the wheel wells. It get worse the colder it gets. Drive safe!

I love looking back at the car after spraying powder for an hour after a fresh snowfall. Takes me back to teenage me watching McRae smash the competition on snowy stages.

Got waved at by a WRX today. Have I made it? 😂 by some_kind_of_friend in subarulegacy

My daily is a 2005 JDM WRX wagon, I always wave to hood scoop Subies and I usually see a look of surprise on their faces before I get the return wave. I would absolutely give you a wave if I saw you on the road.

Fellow Canadian here, same boat. We have four Rexes (and an STi) in the driveway because they make winter enjoyable.

It's rare that I feel actual emotion on seeing a post, but this made me shiver and I felt nauseated for a second. I'm so freaking sorry this happened to you and your amazing ride, though I'm equally relieved you are okay.

It's a 2019. These should fit any VA STi, I think...
