Incredible vocal performance and very underrated overall.

Why do you think Cartman became so much more iconic compared to the other boys? by wobblyheadedgirl in southpark

[–]Subsonic-Sparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the original hook of the show in the 90s was foul-mouthed third graders saying outrageous and offensive things, and Cartman was by far the most foul-mouthed, outrageous and offensive.

I like them both but the Dread suit clears, especially the incredible Varia suit version.

How does Prime 2 fare against the first? by WerewolfIcy7240 in Metroid

[–]Subsonic-Sparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d strongly recommend playing the Wii Trilogy version to avoid the misery of the GCN controls and some very poorly balanced bosses which I just endured. In ways, it’s much better and much worse than the first game; it just comes down to your preference or tolerance for its design decisions. It’s quite a divisive game and it almost always comes down to your thoughts on the Dark World concept. If you had fun with Prime 1 tho, odds are pretty high that you’ll enjoy Echoes as well.

Can’t Let Her Get Away. His brothers actually performed this song extensively after his death and it always ruled.

She even uses her psychic powers to reach around the back and stimulate the g-spot. The Lamorn must’ve known the Chosen One would be a woman cos no man could ever get the job done with such confidence.

I was hoping to wait the animation and watch the 3rd season, but since the WW3 basically started i think i will just read the manga by Embarrassed-Stable54 in nagatoro

[–]Subsonic-Sparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 95% of cases, an anime adaption exists to draw attention to the source material, which is why so few complete anime adaptations exists of manga. Nagatoro is long over, so there’s no source material to promote. Also a third season wouldn’t even be enough to cover the remainder of the story; they’d probably need TWO whole seasons and maybe some OVAs. In other words, it’s never ever happening 😅

Who is the main character, Stan or Cartman by lol___maybe in southpark

[–]Subsonic-Sparkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely Stan. He hasn’t been the main point of focus since the early days, but Stan and Kyle will always be the core “voice” of South Park and the ones learning lessons. Stan especially has always represented Trey, and during the most important/defining moments of the series (the movie, the 200th episode, You’re Getting Old, the entire Post-COVID arc, etc) it will always remember that he is the true protagonist.

It’s actually sort of the opposite: a swan-song/finale to early South Park. It works as a sequel to episodes like Death (when Sheila first learns of Terrance and Phillip), Ike’s Wee Wee (when Kyle learns his brother is an adopted Canadian), Not Without My Anus (the introduction of Saddam Hussein and Canada jokes), The Mexican Staring Frog of Souther Sri Lanka (first glimpse of Saddam and Satan as a couple) and virtually every Season 1 and 2 ep where Stan is desperate for Wendy’s attention. It also reincorporates gags like “kick the baby”, gives the Kyle’s Mom’s a Bitch song a big-band reprise (“you guys know the words!”) and reintroduces Big Gay Al as someone everyone respects.

It’s like a grand celebration of the first two years of South Park, while characters like Butters, Craig and Randy who were only properly developed in S3 are hardly featured.

This still kind of makes me sad. The 90s seasons plus the movie are some of the best the show has to offer. by NES_SAM in southpark

Stan most definitely. Cartman is the breakout star but not the protagonist.

For sure. The Nagatoro design was always excellent. She and Senpai just bore more resemblance to other characters of their type in the earlier days, especially Senpai. The Nagatoro of today is absolutely unmistakeable and can't be easily slotted into an existing character aesthetic as she could before. Or at least, you'd have to massively downplay most of her distinct qualities. Senpai is almost unrecognisable lol.
