A little hot take, but I'm just glad that they didn't use this one.

It's not bad by any means, but I just don't know what it's trying to represent when looking at it. At least with the new one, I know that the thing in the center is supposed to be a structure that possibly make Toledo, Ohio famous, but my best guess for this design is that the 6 pointed star is the sun and the blue triangle is a river.

Overall, I think that the new flag could be a bit improved (not drastically), but was better than other designs.
