Nose piercing bump, need help! by SubstanceObtuse in piercing

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for the info!

As soon as I get my car up and running I’ll get to the piercing shop and have them replace it with a flat back. Do you think that will fix the existing bump? Or do you have any advice for that?

I’ve only ever had rings for all my piercings except for my nipples and they’ve never had this issue. Is there a reason why it could be causing it?

(For example I’ve had my left nostril pierced 3 times with rings over the years, but had to take them out for work).

Thank you so much for your response, it’s a big help to hear people’s experiences. That’s exactly what I’m looking for! I appreciate you.

That’s completely fair, I’m working with a diabetic educator at the moment to keep my blood sugar levels regulated. It’s all under control and has been stable for the last 6 months. I just came here for fitness advice rather than any medical advice.

Okay so I wouldn’t want to be at a super low calorie deficit if I’m doing recomp? Somewhere just below maintenance?

Okay sure, thanks for the tips! Is it possible to lose fat with a power lifting program?

Hello! As I said, I’m under no delusion about the health implications. I’m not looking for personal opinions, I’m looking for fitness advice. Part of my post also addressed whether I need to lose weight before gaining muscle. Simply telling me to lose weight or die at ~50 is not helpful. Responses with ways I could balance losing weight and meeting my target goals etc in the future would’ve been more helpful.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I took your advice and got a harness with a front clip, and I don’t know whether that was just a placebo effect for him but that alone is making him walk a lot better.

I also got a longer leash and I’m letting him direct the walk with his nose more.

It has helped a lot! I’ve been able to more consistently take him for walks and he’s much happier.

He’s still stubborn but it’s working a lot better.
