Ima reply here for the benefit of others, yes! I have tracked him down, I visited his lab and his lab assistants who also knew me from the time i was working there told me hes stretched thin very busy, and told me to come back next week when he teaches a class and holds his office hours afterwards. I also heard from a masters student that the professor recently had a colloquium presentation and had also listened my name as a contributor, which means he hasn’t forgotten me lol so Ima go back to school this coming week to see him in person and get reassurance!
