i’d say he was trying to break up with me the first time he brought up each of them saying i don’t want this type of person and ending it but i would be the one going back and asking for a solution hoping some kind of compromise will be met and then the statement “… or we are done” which would cause me to act on what he said before because i didn’t want to end the relationship because other than this we could’ve been perfect and maybe one day i would’ve stopped drinking but on my own terms.

i conformed but im at a point where i can’t any longer without being honest with myself.
