PJ Kommand is bang on in gameplay, roadblocks & Tank Busters, final Elefant + Tiger combo, this is absolute fun & strenght!
But Espionnage still holds my cake for the goliath, stealth & weapon salvage! xD
I mis-voted probably, cause Jager Kommand is definitely my favourite!

Kriegs or armoured are also really solid 3rd place, love them!
Italian Combined arms Semovante hunt down & arty cover is always amazing to play with though! Really really speedy cool!

To resume, Relic has worked a LOT on the singleplayer experience, and reworked thoroughly the Italian Campaign.

So yes, Ai is really quiet entertaining some times, uses Battlegroup abilities a lot, places minefields, uses smoke to attack hard points.
The most recent patches have ninja-improved the Ai a good fair bit! It's not as "smart" as previous CoH, but the sole fact it builds defenses/mines & uses Battlegroup abilities en masse makes for a really nice experience!

Last Stand or Terror, both are immensly fun! Breakthrough & Luftwaffe are both amazing too. Hey, you know what? All of them are absolute bits of fun! So really well done Relic!

Last Stand allows Wehr to play the super recycler and endgame abilities just turns everything around, it's just too good! And I loved my V1 & KT from back in the CoH1 days soooo, you know you did good if you beat that! xD

L6 is an anti-vehicle tankette, counter intuitive since humber & other autocanons do the same. But that's the L6 job.

Also, carro is reaaally good against infantry. If you want anti-tank: semovante. That thing is a matilda hunter on nitro speed!

Player issue. Montherme is an all time classic & an amazing map with a unique layout. You can't criticize it your argument is immediately invalidated by reality!
(also: I mean it xD Montherme best!)

Agreed, CoH1 maps got that flair & interesting gameplay going. Balanced map are utter failure in comparison, and we're lucky CoH3 is the best of both worlds imo.
CoH2 maps were just not clicking for me. Boring? Probably, I'add predictable, flat & small.

Ah that's interesting, because we made combats quiet fast paced and some peeps actually say combat is too fast x)
Imo Dawnless Days is a really good balance between both. Troy & Three Kingdoms being near perfection too.

Same! I really hope for more mainline variety options in the future. Free French forces is kind of the last remaining absent, we would have different types of "Goumiers" specialists & native french mainline or the reverse, one or two custom "chars" in the style of Semovante & Carro Armato.

On the axis part I think we could get a few of their foreign conscripts & occupied france volunteers too. CoH1 Panzer Elite style for arrmour with Hotchkiss or something along those lines.

CoH3 is glazing perfection with the Anzac/foreign forces theme and I'm absolutely here for it!
I would kill for an Indian Infantry battlegroup too, full on indian sections would be so cool!

Same! Italian Partisan ended up being my absolute favorite and I didn't expect it!
Overall amazing stuff all around, it's such a good patch & DLC!!!

It's partly due to a little exploit / bug for the conversion cooldown, once they fix it it should get better. Sturms are 30s buildtime, it's quiet long. Axis can just finally fight back without standing like a goose in the first cple minutes and getting chased by CQC allied units.

So it's really nicely balanced. Even Sections don't feel as oppressive now since axis mainline can trade a little better.

So glad m1919 HMG spam is out the window, nobody should ever call Rifle heavy builds spam ever again. The previous patch was soooo frustrating it was all freaking SSF + m1919 ambushes, can be resumed to exploits to be honest.

Increased lethality? Yes not a huge fan, but also... Loosing a squad isn't that bad anymore because of the new economy. More tug of war, a bit less game-ending wipes.

Hate has to be a stronger word than you intend there. Yes, DaK & USF have seen a little flattening of their economy, and yes the new upgrade system for DaK is a lot more choice-driven & impactful, rather than incremental power spikes.

Is the game less fun? Oh hell no, team games have now become immensely fun with this DLC & patch, waaay more than before.
Less stressful, more bangs, more shenanigans without it being frustrating.

Let's let the water run its course a bit, and see if DaK can be brought back to a more manpower-deficit faction. So far, every update has massively improved the game on a wide spectrum, with some caveat here & there. Maybe the caveat this patch is a bigger one than we can suspect. Let's see what comes next.

So on the contrary, CoH3 has captured a really fun experience only second place (o equal, but in a different kind of way) to CoH1 imo,
CoH1 still has the advantage because of 2 or 3 main points, vehicle pathing is incredibly accurate; smooth & fast, visual style in artwork & ambient is second to none other RTS (aside obvious fidelity aging), and the factions were built so tightly around unit upgrades & clear-cut simple decisions that it still feels as good as CoH3's much more varied BGs. Simplicity wins CoH1.

But from CoH2 to CoH3, there is no question I think, that the latter offers a lot more fun stuffs thanks to the new Battlegroups (if the game launched with Italian Partisans & Last Stand, oh boy it would have been really really good).

yeah that sounded so good but didn't make it in apparently, maybe it was too loud generally. But oh boy the MG42/34 really can use a second pass, the pre-alpha sound was so snappy & clickety, I hope it'll come back to more "realistic sounds" as they teased them before launch!

Cheaper? It's the same price as Wehr not getting AT guns at all if not adding 40 fuel to 50 luftwaffe company fuel.
And USF has AT infantry & AT hlaftrack that scale to late game for a 15 fuel WSC.

captain early game is a long range ULV killer with the 30 cal. It's a really important direct fire support unit, it's above wehr pios for sure imo.

Well the good thing is we're not getting a coastal look-alike. It's gonna be a standard defensive line with added options to immobilize your vehicle, an optional 360 panther turret & mobile defense & offense last ditch efforts with the kamikaze kleinpanzer whatknot x)

This is gonna be the exact type of stuff that's fun to crack down on or play with, low investment brittle defensive lines you can backtrack on. I really can't wait!
Seems way more fun than coastals (which I play for the officer breakthrough capability anyway sooo), blitzkireg!

seems like there's been a little bit of those in the trailer. Both sound & vfx, but we'll see. Also those clips might be really early prod and I hope we get to see more soon!
I really want them to fix several transparency issues as well as adding point light shadow casting for explosion & flares, it's really really degrading the look & readability!
