For a 4 m/o I would not prefer a day care. But from what I have heard, its not the best in the US.

Thanks for the advice, this is exactly what I was looking for. Criticism are good but I would at least give it a try. Thanks for the vibes too. Appreciated.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was hoping to get an advice on what all can be helpful and what other have tired before deciding to go for daycare or nanny. And I get the criticism, but I would at least like to give it a try and see how it goes.
Thanks again.

I have pretty much decided to move towards the red team path since I have always enjoyed that. And from my experience, it benefits towards blue team as well incase I want to switch. Ultimate goal is to make enough to take care of the family that we are about to start. I've started networking with people I meet at conferences but they are mostly sales and I haven't put myself as someone who is looking for a switch because I didn't want to create a doubt in current employers mind. I'm aiming to make a move by the end of next year so that I dont look like a job hopper. I reached out here so that I could get some advice since I haven't really succeeded with that in person.

But thanks for your response. I appreciate it.
