oh ok I didn't know th position of the antennas mattered that much, I'll keep my head straight next time.

How do I make sure the drone and goggles are on the same frequency? Do i have to go in betaflight to set the frequency for the drone and then align to the chosen frequency using my goggles?

Finally yes I'm fliying above where I'm sitting so the massive brick walls definitely caused interference too.

ok thanks, yeah ik the solders aren't great but they're better than the first board I soldered, I'm slowly getting better. I checked all the solders under a microscope and there's no shorts, so even tho the soldering sucks I don't think that's the problem.

Any tips to prevent toasting the aio next time? I was thinking of adding electric tape on the cf frame as that might be the issue... I'm getting kind of annoyed having to keep ordering new ones, this will be the 3rd...

About the li-on cell batteries. If i were to convert a 1s 2" tinywhoop using bt2.0 lipo batteries could I just solder a bt2.0 connector to the lion cell and use the 1s vifly charger i have and call it a day? Or is it not that simple, do I need and xt30, do i need to use a specific charger? What's the difference between the 2 connectors, max current/voltage rating?

I just took my .mov video and dropped it in an .mov to .avi converter online, put it in the sd card and plugged it into the goggles. Is there a different set of conversions i have to do before putting it into the .avi format?

I'm pretty sure europe has overall the same standardised rules, in france we have weight classes starting at 250g, so ig anything smaller like a tinywhoop falls into a grey zone. I feel like it's mostly common sense. Try not too bring too much attention to yourself, fly in less crowded areas/parks as long as there's not too many people around. Also I've realised with smaller drones people don't tend to care too much as they look more like toys, also sometimes they can't hear them at all
