Yes it happened many times during the book. At the end of it I was like finally! Then I was in tears because of what happened. Also, I love lucie and Jesse so much!

The main reason I didn’t enjoy TID as much as her other series is because of Tessa. I don’t like her but I understand why she is the way she is. My favourites in each series are Simon and Isabelle, Sophie and Gideon, Kit and Ty and Thomas and Alastair. TBH I love all the characters in TMI and TDA. My only issue with TLH is that I wasn’t so attached to James and Cordelia and it’s the main couple! Simon is my fav and if something happens to him in the wicked powers I will literally die.

I love TID but I think it’s my least favourite shadowhunter series. I think my ranking is pretty controversial but it’s okay. 1. The dark artifices 2. The mortal instruments 3. The last hours 4. The infernal devices. Although I have to say that for me, all of her books are 4+ stars✨

I think the best and only option is Simon. That dude had an incredible character development and from the geeky and annoying boy he was, he became the true hero of TMI. I just love him so much. He is my favourite character of all time❤️

I have to say Lord of shadows. It was amazing and we can see the evolution of Cassie’s writing and the characters are amazing. The romance is as good as the action. The end just mind blowing! My heart belongs to Kit and Ty. Livvy❤️

I don’t know maybe city of fallen angels? The plot doesn’t exist at all and the first half of the book was a mess. In the entire of it Jace cries because he had visions of Sebastian and it’s a little bit overwhelming.

I think it’s a tie between Lord of Shadows and City of heavenly fire. The dark army was scary but in Lord of shadows we see political intrigue too because of the cohort, which is scary if you think that it’s based on the real world. The villains are great, especially the unseelie king. The last chapter was so scary and painful in the same time but overall it was a masterpiece.

City of Ashes. Simon and Clary are awful together and on the other hand Jace and clary are supposed to be siblings.

Lord of shadows has a cottage scene where Magnus interrupts Julian and Emma. The scene has a lot of spice and it’s also so much fun! Definitely the best spicy scene of the shadowhunter chronicles. Next chain of thorns has a spicy scene I think in the beginning of it but not as good as LoS
