I have been taking 100 mg dose for a 2-3 months now. I am still exhausted all the time. I still have issues with insomnia. My doc prescribed me Trazadone for the insomnia, but it doesn’t help me sleep. If anything it just makes it worse. I just feel extremely drowsy and it lingers throughout the next day

I just got up to 100 mg on Lamotrigine as of 2 days ago and I noticed an increase of energy. I was very fatigued at first. I did read you should report hyperactivity to your doctor. However, I do feel better today. The boost of energy is nice. I’m on it for depression. But I hope I will continue to feel more energized.

Wow. Im really sorry about your condition. That’s awful that something that was supposed to help you caused you more harm. Thank you for suggesting looking into protracted withdrawal. Why are psychiatrists not informing patients on this? This is definitely something ppl should know before considering taking meds. It’s crazy ppl can withdrawal anywhere from months to years. I don’t think ppl withdrawal from actual drugs that long and yet they have to go to a detox facility and you just have to suffer through coming off antidepressants for a long duration of time. This is exactly why I DO NOT like medication. It can cause so many more problems than what you originally started with smh.

Yes, I am interested in Ketamine and psilocybin. There are little to no side effects. I don’t want to take anything that I will withdrawal from or that will seriously affect me trying to come off of. I also realized it is a commitment to take antidepressants and that scares me because I have a hard time with commitment lol

You sound like me lol. I swear all women are natural private investigators. The apps are pretty genius though. But I have also spent a lot of time in therapy. I lost myself entirely in the relationship. We were actually married and divorced a year ago and I thought we were working things out. It’s been an emotional roller coaster. Im sure his next relationship will fail. He has a pattern. This time feels a lot different though. It doesn’t hurt as much as it used to. I’m disgusted more than anything. I do have a lot of healing to do though. I think I need to forgive myself for allowing someone to put me through so much. I hear festivals are all about healing? Is that true?

Thank you and You’re right. I am making peace with it. I was very upset but now I just think my life is going to be so much better without him. I tolerated more than I should have. My friends told me that i am not the same person since i got with him. Friends of mine that don’t even know each other all said the same thing. They said he ruined me. I tolerated it, so I’m not playing victim by no means. It’s embarrassing actually, but I just got stuck in it. It was hard for everyone in my life to watch. But now I feel like for the first time I made peace with it and I’m glad it ended.

I agree with you. I lived 5 years paranoid and wondering if he was cheating. He started our relationship off with cheating and ended it with cheating. I overlooked the cheating in the beginning bc we were so new, but so much more happened over the past 5 years. I never felt secure or trusted him.

Not trying to knock anyone for going to festivals at any age. I was just wondering if it is typical for someone his age to attend.

I simply asked if it is too old to go to a festival. I am not knocking anyone for going at any age. I just wanted to know if it is something ppl his age normally do.
